Approx. Calculation on Revenue Share With Assumption of 30% of Sales Paid to Fees and Tax

With understanding of the instructor’s terms, do note the calculation shown is just an approximate with an assumption of all fees, tax and other cost to be 30% of the course price.

Meaning, for an course that is sold at $100, and an assumption that “Fees + Tax + Other Cost” is 30% of your course sale price, here is the calculation:

  • $100 Course Sales – (Tax + Fees + Other Cost) = Approx. $70 Net Revenue
  • $70 Net Revenue * 90% (Revenue Share) = $63 as your earning

Do understand that the final calculation can differ, but as a nutshell here is a sample calculation for your understanding.

Like any business, most of the deduction is for taxes and fees incurred, however, we will try to minimize any fees so that you can get more ROI for your effort in creating courses. As we are educators ourselves, we know how much it means to get rewarded by the value we give to the community.
